Heather Park in Garner, NC says " Get to these Shelters if needed!" - Where you can go if you need shelter in the storm

If you need shelter as the storm approaches, here is where you can turn. And if there are more updates, please send them to newstips@wncn.com.
Johnston County
Location: Smithfield-Selma Senior High School at 700 Booker Dairy Road. The shelter opened at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Wake County
The Red Cross is opening two shelters Wednesday as a precaution. They will both be open at 4 p.m. One shelter is at Apex United Methodist Church at 100 S. Hughes St. in Apex and a second shelter at Garner United Methodist Church at 201 Methodist Drive in Garner.
Durham County
Durham Rescue Mission will have two shelters open Wednesday. The men's shelter will be at 1201 E. Main St. in Durham and the women and children's shelter will be at 507 E. Knox St.
Franklin County
Shelter at Franklin County Senior Center in Louisburg opens Wednesday at 5 p.m. Bring food and medications needed for the first 24 hours. Animals are to be sheltered at home unless it's a life or death situation.
Moore County
Location: Southern Middle School at 515 Johnson St. in Aberdeen will open at 2 p.m. Wednesday as a public shelter.
