PNC DOWNTOWN RALEIGH MOVIE SERIES

Downtown Raleigh Alliance's newest outdoor event transforms City Plaza into "the living room of Raleigh" with a series of movies under the stars and Downtown's growing skyline.

For six Friday's this summer, the movie series is expected to attract over 6,000 attendees to City Plaza.

This year, the movie series will feature 

films made in North Carolina.

Prior to each movie, the event will offer an exciting line-up of North Carolina movies, local food trucks, and live entertainment.

Gather at Pullen Park to relax and enjoy the beautiful NC weather with folks just wanting to play and have fun!

Volunteers bring extra hoops & instruments to this event, so don't let that stop you! Have instruments to share...bring them along!

MAY 2nd & 3rd!!

Fun for the entire family, the Ham and Yam festival honors Smithfield's agricultural history.

The Stevens Sausage Pavilion at the Neuse River Amphitheater will be rocking when The Breakfast Club, America's favorite 1980's tribute band takes the stage at 8pm on Friday, May 2nd.

The festival will close on Saturday, May 3rd with a concert featuring Who's Bad: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Tribute Band that starts at 8pm.

Saturday, May 3rd, in Downtown Smithfield, the festival occupies several blocks. 

Craft and commercial vendors line the streets. Food vendors offer a variety of fair foods and menu items featuring country ham and sweet potatoes.

THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE

This enchanting musical is based on C.S. Lewis' adventure story about four children of war torn England, who accidentally enter the land of Narnia by climbing through a magic wardrobe. This strange and wondrous place is ruled by the cold-hearted White Witch, who makes the winter last year round. Although they seem unlikely saviors, the children fulfill an ancient prophecy by defeating the witch, thus restoring sunshine and peace to the spell-bound Narnia and returning the great Lion King Aslan to his throne.

The Pit's 6th Annual 'Cuegrass Festival returns to the warehouse district of Downtown Raleigh

with a jam-packed day full of great 'cue, local brews, and toe-tappin' bluegrass music!

They're closin' down the streets around The Pit and firing up the pig cookers to serve plenty of Eastern NC- Style  and a selection of locally made beers. 

And on the stage they'll have some of their favorite bands. 

All proceeds go to a local charity.
