- Puppy food (dry-high quality brands like Iams, Purina and Science Diet only please)

We are accepting donations for the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina.
The food drive is taking place now thru Friday, December 11th.
Please keep in mind that pop top cans and and microwavable cups are preferred and NO GLASS containers are allowed.

- A lovely couple that stays at Heather Park Apartments is hosting a Cornhole Tournament! This is a resident hosted event! Come on out and meet your neighbors!

- WHERE: On the Grass Hill where the grill is @ Heather Park Apartments

- My husband and I are having a cookout for everyone in our community on August 29th at 5pm! It's going to be located on the grass lot where the grill is. There will be free hotdogs, chips, drinks etc. And, we are going to have a Cornhole Tournament with a Cash prize! We are looking forward to meeting you all, and I hope everyone has an amazing day and will be able to attend!

The Pool is officially Open!
THE POOL IS OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR THE SUMMER!
Be sure to brush up on your pool rules located in your lease addenda.
If you have any questions about the pool rules we'd love to hear from you.
POOL PASSES
If you do not have a new pool pass (green and white), please have a lease holder come to the office and pick one up. We will have them available starting Saturday, May 30, 2015.
In the meantime, feel free to use the pool.
If asked, be sure to let our courtesy officer or office staff know your full name and which apartment you reside in.
Please note that if you do not show a pool pass after 5/29/15, you will be asked to leave the pool area.

Eggsatravaganza Coming Up March 28th!
SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!
Celebrate with the Town of Garner at their annual spring Eggstravaganza.
There will be activities for kids of all ages at this free event on
Saturday, March 28th, from 10am - 1pm at Lake Benson Park.
This years event will feature a magician with live animals, music, games, inflatables, crafts and more! Visit one of the food vendors to purchase treats like hot dogs and Italian ices.
Be sure to take your camera to have a picture taken with the Easter Bunny before the egg hunts begin PROMPTLY at noon.
Lake Benson Park is located at 921 Buffaloe Road in Garner.
Please, no pets allowed during this event. Volunteering opportunities are available.

Lake Benson Park in Garner will be erecting a 30' outdoor movie screen for a showing on Friday, May 16th.
The FREE family flick begins at 8:30pm.
Bring a blanket and/or chairs.
Refreshments will be available.
Family camping at the park will follow the movie night.
Advance registration is required.

A second movie/camping night featuring a free screening of "Monsters University", will be held at Lake Benson Park on Friday, June 13th.

Heather Park Apartments staff recommends Wine and Design for a great night out! Check out their different locations!
I (Joni) have personally gone to Wine and Design and had one of the best and most relaxing nights with a group of girlfriends that i've had in a long time!
Forget the bars and loud crazy environments, and get your creative cap on by heading to this amazing venture.
For all ages! They even have Kid Art Summer Camps, Holiday Camps, Sunday Funday Classes, After School Art Classes, Birthday Parties (private parties for adults too!) & Mommy and Me Classes.
Bring your favorite bottle of vino, beer, fruit juice or water and settle in to paint the picture of the night. Bring a pizza if your hungry!!
You don't have to be monet to enjoy this class. You show up and the wonderful folks who work at Wine and Design have your paints, paint brushes, water, paper towels, and pre-sketched canvas ready for you to go to work on. You just grab a smock and enjoy!
The only thing you have to worry about are what delicious colors to use on your masterpiece!
There's even a fantastic area outside to enjoy and relax at which overlooks
Downtown Raleigh (Raleigh location). Beautiful.
I can't recommend more of a fantastic evening out.

LAKE BENSON BOATHOUSE OPENED FOR THE SEASON ON SATURDAY, MARCH 15, 2014.
SATURDAY HOURS ARE FROM 7AM - 7PM.
THROUGH JUNE IT WILL ALSO BE OPEN FRIDAYS AND SUNDAYS NOON-7PM.
IN JULY AND AUGUST, THE BOATHOUSE WILL DROP THE FRIDAY HOURS BUT PICK THEM BACK UP IN SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER.
JON BOATS WITH MOTORS ARE $4.00 PER HOUR OR $20.00 PER DAY. CANOES ARE $5.00 PER HOUR. SENIORS GET HALF PRICE RATES ON FULL DAY RENTALS OF JON BOATS. IT'S A CASH ONLY OPERATION.
THERE IS FREE FISHING FROM THE DOCK.
