- My husband and I are having a cookout for everyone in our community on August 29th at 5pm! It's going to be located on the grass lot where the grill is. There will be free hotdogs, chips, drinks etc. And, we are going to have a Cornhole Tournament with a Cash prize! We are looking forward to meeting you all, and I hope everyone has an amazing day and will be able to attend!

Please do not obstruct the trash compactor.
TREES MAY BE LEFT IN THE GRASSY AREA IN BETWEEN THE MAILBOXES AND COMPACTOR.

Bring your blankets and your chairs out to Lake Benson Park (921 Buffaloe Road on Friday, September 5, 2014 and enjoy the Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department's Friday's Family Flick "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days"
The 30 foot outdoor movie screen will be placed on the main stage, with seating on the grassy slope in front. Refreshments will be sold, but coolers are welcome. Come early to get a good seat.
The movie will begin at 7:45pm.
This movie is FREE to the public!

Learn about community safety for NNO over Free Hot Dogs..says Heather Park Apartments!
The Garner Police Department announces that the 31st annual National Night Out (NNO) against crime will be held on August 5th, 2014. Over 37 million people in more than 16,000 communities across the United States will join forces to promote police-community partnerships, safety and neighborhood unity.
Along with the traditional outside lights and front porch vigils, most cities and towns celebrate National Night Out with a variety of special citywide and neighborhood events such as block parties, cookouts, parades, festivals, visits from local officials and law enforcement, safety fairs and youth events.
Heather Park Apartments will be celebrating NNO by encouraging our residents to leave outside lights on, lock their doors, and get together with neighbors.
We encourage residents to come to the main office and enjoy free hot dogs between 5pm-7pm while learning more about community safety with the local Garner police. There will be ID station for children.
We look forward to seeing our residents out and participating in this great event.
